The hall can be hired for individual events (weddings, children's parties, fundraising etc) or it can be hired on an hourly basis for regular weekly art classes or fitness classes etc.  (All residents of Clearbrook and Hoo Meavy are offered a discounted rate for hire.)

The main hall space inside is approx 10 metres by 10 metres with a beautiful high vaulted ceiling and wood parquet floor.

The hall can accommodate up to 80 people seated conference style and approx. 40+ seated at tables for weddings/functions etc. 

Equipment available:

  • Projector and large pull down screen 

  • PA System

  • Staging (not a fixed element in the room.  This can be assembled within the existing floor area.)

  • Stage lighting

  • Over head heaters

  • Air conditioning units

  • Blackout curtains

  • Old fashioned skittles alley

Trestle tables come in two sizes: large to seat 6-8 people and small, seating 4.

It has a small but fully equipped kitchen, with large electric ovens and multi halogen hob. 

80+ place settings are available of plain white crockery and cutlery alongside tea urns, cafetieres, serving dishes and more! We do have numerous mis-matching wine glasses and tumblers but you may want to hire these separately. There is a serving hatch to the main hall. 

The hall has excellent disabled access and modern separate male and female toilets.
